My name is Greg Carlson, founder of WoodDreaming.
After years of high-end carpentry and watercraft experience, I am now starting my own shop to create individually crafted, lightweight canoes & kayaks paddles that work wonderfully in the water and also look beautiful displayed in your home, office, cabin or garage.
Coming up next week I plan to start a full blog on what I'm up to, this may include the process of creating a wooden canoe from scratch, just some woodworking tips and hints, etc.

I've spent the last few days setting up my exhibit at The Market Mall in Watertown, WI where I will be presenting my work in April.

The Canoe Coffee Tables are an authentic 5' canoe converted into a beautiful table, with a full glass top and hand carved stand. Constructed with the same technique used to build traditional wooden canoes. They feature a carrying yoke and two hand woven seats. They are finished with the same rich marine grade varnish as the boats and paddles.
